Peter_Private_Box club has replied to gezginruh clubThank you so much for your visit and the awards here. Why this was on top of the castle I do not know. It is certainly not a big windmill. None the less, I am happy that you like it.

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to SteI am pleased that you like this unusual castle adornment!.
Best wishes for the weekend, and HFF also
Peter
Perhaps it was easier to ground (?) the grain up there, than far down the hill (esp. if you are surrounded by your enemies, what could happen rather often that times, I guess).
HFF.
Your visit is much appreciated. I still wonder how these small sails (no more than 2metres each) could provide enough power for anything!
Except maybe.... it is for pumping water up to the castle.. like this little one in Holland..https://www.test.ipernity.com/doc/2247998/45031030
Best wishes and HFF also
