And I would posit that the delivery of cheese falls among the latter!
Top shot!
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Andy Rodker clubOne of the guys did explaln to me that the cart is a relatively new addition. In the old days the cheese would have been taken to a canal boat moored adjacent. Certainly getting these cheeses to the customers is important!!!

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to SteFirst morning in Holland, and it rained! However this was only a few miles from the hotel, so no problem. These big cheeses go to shops and supermarkets, but there was no shortage of stalls around selling smaller pieces of all varieties, and crackers too!
I went back a week later when the weather was better!

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Jaap van 't Veen clubI guess you can go and see this scene in any number of little towns, but we know they only do it for the tourists now!
Pleased that you like it!

a real cheesy shot! L( Sarah
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Sarah O' clubThank you for visiting! The occasional one did fall off, but they picked them up again quick!!
Free samples were available, about the size of your finger, and it was good!!
Or you could buy a big bag of a mix of pieces for around 10 dollars. Certainly worth while if you lived there.
For supper tonight I had some cheese (which I brought back from Amsterdam) and crackers.. Very tasty!! Pity I can't send it round to everybody to share!
Best Wishes
