I am pleased that you like it. This comes from the diesel gala on the very hot sunday we had a week or so ago. Something tells me the Deltic had a repaint for the occasion!!

This as a very popular spot for photos, for obvious reasons! Late afternoon the sun has come round far enough to make these bright colours stand out. I am happy that you like it.

Your visit and comments are really appreciated here. I think that the view on this part of the bridge is better, simply because there is less steelwork obstructing the view, and we can still include the water in the foreground..

I am very happy that you enjoyed this scene on an unusually hot and sunny spring day! It is always nice when everything is bright and colorful, including the newly painted locomotive.
