The date on your camera must be wrong, Peter. It's just been dull and dreary today and not cold enough for snow! Please will you map both photos.

Hi Amelia,

The date on the camera is not wrong. If the web site does not pick it up from the Exif, it defaults to 'today' rather than zero. In this case (as with many others) it has applied date of upload as being date of picture taken.

Hi Peter,

In November 2013 we saw a steam train go by when visiting Stokesay Castle. Was this taken anywhere near there? Sadly there was no snow but I did get a distant picture of it!

Sorry, but I must have missed this visit... Now I have found it on another snowy day!
Unfortunately not the same. The line you saw into Shrewsbury carries a fair amount of steam excursions, but this is Severn Valley Railway.. Nearby!!
