Her 13th Birthday Party was a Dance at a venue that is used for many social functions...it is an old barn kept in great shape to be used for these kinds of social events. Weddings are even done here for those wishing a rustic, "outdoorsy" kind of feel to the event. Will post more shots of this Barn and its interesting atmosphere... The owners live right on the property and stay busy with clients using their lovely old Barn for events.!! This place is in our neighboring county, Bulloch County, Statesboro, Georgia....

Hello Rosa, Thank you very much. :) I try :) so happy you came by to see the cake. the road was paved all the way there Rosa :) AND I did not assemble the cake until I was on site. ! I learned that some years ago:)

Hey Andy, thanks for your nice comment here, I appreciate that. Not sure I remember my 13th either :) I so hope my G/daughters remember the cakes I am doing for ALL their birthdays , and IF NOT, I have a "cake album" for each of them of JUST their cakes since birth! I hope they will enjoy the Albums in years to come, they know of the albums :) a fun project indeed :) best wishes, Sarah

Hello dear Steve, Yes you are right, time and patience go into the cakes I do for my 3 Grands:! Yes the cake was received really well by Elizabeth and her many friends at her party. and the flavors of the cake did taste as I had hoped. that bottom base cake was Chocolate, the Pink one wit h " Happy Birthday" was Strawberry and the other two were Butter Pound Cake. :) so there was " choice" for the party goers. :) thanks Steve, I always appreciate your visits and kind comments.
