When walking along the Pier on Tybee Island, I was near the edge and looking down just at the right time, and saw this "mermaid" sunbathing on the beach:)) A nice piece of sand art by someone... you can see my shadow here as I leaned out looking down for the photo! when I returned back by this spot from the extreme end of the Pier, looking back down, someone had stepped on and smashed the mermaid:(( I guess someone didn't respect the work and time it took to build their mermaid.:( Sarah
