My oldest Grand daughter now ENGAGED !! see story below:)
On Feb 13, our Grand daughter was asked by her long time boyfriend to Marry him, at a lovely outdoor setting ....A surprise Patio style Engagement Party in the presence of both families and some friends. All of us knew of a nice outdoor get-together but NOT what type party until we walked out on the deck and saw this lovely wooden, engraved message to her....She came a bit later, after everyone was in place and we all got to see her shock, surprise and happy face as she came onto the Deck and walked right up to this lovely setting !! Such a great celebration, lots of fun and laughter....no wedding plans for a good while however:)) She wishes to finish her college degree in Nursing!

Hello Peter!! thank you so much! Yes indeed, a new chapter for sure....They seem to be ready for their future together, tho the wedding won't be done so quickly, she wants to finish her degree in Nursing..... AND YES! What a big deal for me, to work with "my grand daughter" on HER Wedding Cake. wow! Ive told her she doesn't need to put it off too long, or I may be out of my willingness to do her cake:))) Ive sooo enjoyed NOT doing cakes anymore. BUT I m sure I would make an exception here, don't you think? :)) kind wishes, Sarah

Rosa, thank you so much! It really was nice Rosa. But there were so many smart phones, other cameras etc that My shots were just a snap for me to keep, But have forwarded them to Fallon! She and Cody probably have so any photos from that night, it would fill a complete album no doubt:) thanks for commenting here, greatly appreciated, YOU JUST WAIT, you will have this moment one day with your cute Sophie! Or maybe another grand? Its a happy time for me, I remember her birth, ( our first Grand) and how my son and Daughter in law told me about the good news when they were "expecting".... They gave me a Christmas Card, addressed to "Grand Mother" !! My reaction should have been recorded for some comedy show:)))) I HAD A FIT! SOSO excited and proud!! and I turned around once or twice and now SHE IS ENGAGED! wow!

Hey Amelia, thank you so much, it really was a special time, a wonderful celebration for a sweet couple. WELL, Amelia, refusing was no where on the radar :))) She screamed out and said, after a big ole hug to Cody, "Its About Time" :))) :))) Theyve been a close couple for several years. They are both smart, hard working and headed into a great future is all our wishes for them. Thanks for visiting this shot dear Amelia... Sarah
