Hey Steve, Yes I like bananas OK but prefer other fruits . Yes after seeing various shots on ipernity with things along this line, I jumped in and did these two shots. and yes, it was fun. thank you for your time to visit, I appreciate that.

I like the star shaped composition here, well sort of a cross between star and spiral. It works well against the black background. Certainly a different way to photograph a banana!

Hey Peter, I was playing around with this kind of shot., I see others doing this kind of thing, so why not! I d never thought of this kind of shot actually. But jumped in and took a "shot" at it. :)

I just love your presentation here, Sarah. The dish and banana are perfectly placed in the frame, and I love the negative (dark) space around it.
