Andy Rodker club has replied to Janet Brien clubI don't nthink i've ever seen polished stones from here. You would expect to see them in the few craft shops around the place but I never have. Maybe they don't polish up too well!.

Eric,
Merci beaucoup à vous deux!
Andy Rodker club has replied to Anton Cruz Carro clubLa Sierra de La Cabrera is a wonderful place to go walking and / or scrambling. It is very close to Madrid, nice and compact, often has clear weather when the main Sistema Central ridge is in cloud and the walks can all be done in a day or even a half day.
And yet very few Madrileños/as ever go there. I believe it is because there are no restaurants here and so it does not constitute a day out for them!!!
They are missing out a lot. They should get used to sandwiches!!!
