Thank you, Peter. I enjoyed the walk, it was the basketball after that was the killer. It was like being totally embarrassed by 4 year olds and grannies! I hadn't thrown a basketball since aged 13 and it showed! It was also like playing football with someone like Kenny Dalglish. That is the sort of stature that Rafa Rullán has in the game in Spain!

I just looked up Rafael on Google and saw his picture - boy he's very tall isn't he? He looks very fit, so you must have had a good workout with him this morning!!!!

I just love this picture - it's gorgeous. I love the light - didn't you go to bed last night then?

The photo was taken in the late morning. If truth be told, neither my girlfriend or I ate or drank too much due to a touch of food poisoning a few days earlier so we went to bed at a reasonable hour!
He's nearly 68 now but still unerring with his aim into the basket!

In a shooting contest devised by a fiendish 7 year old, I came last behind a four year old and a grandmother! Rafa of course scored an easy 100% (the show-off!)! My girlfriend and her two sisters demonstrated a hitherto unforseen ball playing and athletic facility that only went to compound my gawkish incompetance!
Nevertheless, good fun in hindsight! I hope your Christmas was a good one and I wish you all the best for the New year.
