She's seen a for sale sign. She will have to investigate!
Part of her long-running plan to move out of Madrid and into the country. She needs to sell her piece of land first! I have no idea which village this is! They are all nice and all pretty similar and Google stole my notes when they knifed Pano in the back. I'm guessing Candelario (which is in the Sierra de Bejar) but could be miles out!

I can understand her wanting to move into the countryside from the city. I used to live in a city many years ago and it's lost its allure now!!!! Give me the countryside anyday. Again I ask if she's got that piece of land, could you both consider building a home on that land, leaving some land for your garden?

She and her two sisters inherited parcels of land in the area. Her sisters built homes on their land and live there now, but Marta, who was her grandmother's favourite - it's too long a story for here - took over her grandmother's historic rent in a grandiose appartment in the middle of Madrid where she lives now and that meant she was well established for work, etc and the land was just a reserve and a nest egg for the future but no one predicted the crash of 2008.
