I don't mind them in their natural habitat of course, Jenny but I would happily see them eradicated from town centres! Yes, irrational I know ... and impossible... and all man's fault .

But even so ... I have similar feelings about pigeons.

The English picnic is OK - ish, Rosa but I prefer the French idea of a picnic. A baguette recently from the oven, a jar of paté de sanglier, a few top notch tomatoes and basil leaves and superbe olive oil, A fresh goat's cheese, some freshly picked figs and peaches from the wild trees and of course a bottle of something appropriate cooling à la pointe in the mountain stream at one's feet.
.... I can go to bed and dream happily now!
