Mountain stream (the last of it before the summer heat dries it out completely), granite, cistus and Spanish lavender.

This small stream, even when swollen with storm waters or snow melt, provides a pleasing short-cut up into the higher mountain areas of the Sierra. By mid June - often earlier - it will be as barren, dry and dusty as the rest of the region.
