Thank you Jenny. I was in the doghouse over this because I had said that it was a lovely town and I had fond memories of it. It wasa bit out of our way and my girlfriend had had other ideas but she (amazingly) agreed to go with my hunch. After that, she never trusted my opinion about anything! Thank you Hervás!

How disappointing, but you'd never know it from this lovely image over the rooftop. I like the terracotta roof tiles and the scenery is fantastic.

Not surprised you got the blame though.....................

And I'm not one for bearing grudges!

But you did a lovely photo. The roofs are not our of corrugated iron, but still the old fasiones lovely red tiles... So everything was not bad.

Other potentially good views were ruined by insensitive building repairs, Eva.
OK, people are poor here and have to do what thay can, but even so there was no sign that the civil authority had any notion of civic pride. Especially when it is all too keen to publicise the town on the tourist map but not too keen to actually make it worth visiting.

That is really a pity. So you made do with the best you could find.
