What a fabulous photo Andy - I especially love the flowers in the foreground, which seem to frame the rest of the picture. The mountains are very imposing yet the landscape is so attractive.

Thank you, Jenny! Yes, I too like these flowers!
My walks here always include a walk along the crest as well as visiting the equally interesting lower parts such as here. I had just come down from the ridge and was relaxing in this beautiful area, a twenty minute 'breather' before ascending the ridge again, and going back down the other side to my bus and the journey home! So, effectively I ascended the ridge twice in a day's walk (Ok maybe not not now but I was fitter 6-7 years ago!)

If truth be told, and told it sometimes is, Keith these asphodels were as tall as me and I'm not two foot six!
But yes, the flowers are small for the size of the plant!
