Oh wow those beautiful completely round holes in the rock look as if they're man-made. If they are man-made - what was the reason for them?

Typical granite weathering! Formed under the sea a very long time ago. They have led many learned bods to ponder about these (especially ones in Cornwall, I give you a link here www.ipernity.com/doc/2247598/46626608/in/album/1045142 ) for several centuries. The jury is still out but under the sea is the current consensus of opinion!

Yes, the holes look like created by water action! Or maybe they are dinosaur tracks;-)

You may be right ...

A fascinating shot Andy..............such wonderful shapes and colours. My head says they were formed under the sea, but my funny bone agrees with Gudrun and her dinsosaur tracks theory!

We humans seem to have a habit bif preferring the unlikely to tried-and-tested scientific fact, especially more so these days which is one of the great tragedies of our age! More of a tragedy in fact, Keith than that I can no longer play my old videos!
