Sierra de La Cabrera, vulture and foggy valley

A foggy December day. Worth it when emerging from the fog! Madrid was in fog. The entire 1.5 hour bus journey was in fog. 3/4 of my walk was in fog. I didn't know if I would break clear of it. But what joy when I did!

I certainly was! I took many photos of a stunning fog and land-scape with just the mountain peaks showing. All of Central Spain (including Madrid), a very wide area, was that day under an extensive carpet of fog.

75% of all Spaniards were in this on that day, Keith. It covered most of inland Spain and they would have called it fog, no matter that you may be right!
