Have a great weekend ;)
sasithorn_s,
Tanja,
Gudrun,
Thank you! Yes it is attractive. It likes the mild and damp climate of Cornwall. It is getting to be more common, at least in garden centres in England!
What a beautiful frame you have done!!
maybe Cornwall is not so cold in winter time? They looks wonderful!
HFF!

I don't know when I will next visit Cornwall. I was there last weekend and only thought about the seeds after I left :o(
But, IF I am there when there are seeds to be had, I will bring some back and send some to you!
best wishes, Andy.

Andy Rodker club has replied to Diane Putnam clubMy Mum first had it in her garden near London in the early 90s, before they retired and moved to Cornwall. It was rare then but she kept some seeds and they took very happily in the moist but warm air there. I have seen it more frequently in garden centres in the UK since then, but you're right; it's not yet all that common. Strange really, as it is a beautiful plant and easy to grow.
Best wishes,
Andy
HFF and good W/end

Andy Rodker club has replied to Eunice Perkins clubMy Mum says she's known it all her life! She says she had it in the garden when we were kids but I wasn't a fan of gardening then and I wouldn't have noticed. In later years I grew this from seed fron my mum's plants obviously and had this climbing here, there and everywhere. I stored the seeds over winter and the cycle was maintained for years!
