Boquillas Canyon

Boquillas Canyon
While in Big Bend National Park we hiked into Boquillas Canyon as far as we could go, following the Rio Grande. Boquillas Canyon is on the east side of the park and separates the USA from Mexico, here the colored cliffs on the other side of the river.

Jean-luc Drouin, tiabunna, goandgo, Jörg and 16 other people have particularly liked this photo

Wow, this must have been a glorious hike...I wonder if you were hot though? I recall the weather not being bad for hiking so I imagine you were nice and comfortable! In any event, the pictures are fantastic and I pine for the opportunity to visit this sort of terrain sometime!

LOLOL, it's just too funny, Ron...I actually have a picture of Red-flowering Currant...AND YOU FOUND IT in my photos! *ROFLMAO* TYSM for pointing it out! :) You wondered if we have the yellow variety...not from what I know...I did a search of the table rocks flowers and neither variety are found there either. Oh, and the red version doesn't grow on our property either. Sorry the yellow variety didn't make it--the plant is so pretty! You could always try again!
