Mule Ears

This aptly named formation is along the Ross Maxwell Scenic Drive in Big Bend National Park. We had been there the day before and stopped again on our way back north to our campsite for the night at Paint Gap Hills.

On another note, my presence here will be sporadic for a few weeks since we leave tomorrow morning on a cross-country trip to see family, especially my elderly parents and those of our children who live in Michigan.
