Such a lovely selection of pretty wildflowers, Ron! :) I am such a fan of lupines, but also of spreading phlox and buckwheat too...all are very nice pictures to share with us! We actually haven't visited Crater Lake this year, it may happen but I don't know for sure, though it's certainly close enough for a day trip...I am sure you've visited Wizard Island, no? What a treat that is, though I believe you must reserve a spot on the boat weeks in advance (which is what we did, or rather the hiking group organizer set it up for us). Totally worth it, the tour on the boat and open-ended time on the island, it's just awesome, educational, interesting and such fun. :)

Those lupines...i know you and I have discussed our adoration of them...I have taken a number of pictures of various species on our adventures this season, though none on Vancouver Island, I don't think. As I mentioned before, I had to give the heave-ho for the most part to my macro photography because we didn't make enough time per stop for care-free wandering. A pity, but gosh I certainly got endless cool scenery shots...and also, Steve figured out how to do vertical panoramas with his phone, and lol, between the marvelous normal panos and vertical panos too, we turned into a couple of pano junkies...I'll show some when I can, they are so totally neato! :)

Steve and I got home at about 3pm today and happily picked up the fluffy little chicken on the way home...she remembered us and was so very excited and overjoyed to see us...it was so sweet and wonderful to be reunited with her and also to see that she'd had a marvelous stay and was loved by all who work there. :) We have had a great time playing with her and cuddling, oh how we've missed her. LOL, she hasn't had a bath for 6 weeks (we assume she probably didn't have the opportunity) and the moment I turned on the kitchen sink, she basically did a dive-bomb for the faucet, lol!! It didn't occur to me but no worries, she certainly let me know in no uncertain terms that It Was Time For Her Bath NOW. :D Such grand splashing...it's so cute to be part of this show and I would love to tell you about it but it's 12:30 and my eyes are crossing, heh...another time!

Will process and post a picture tomorrow from the trip, how ever shall I choose?! :) For now, night night! :)
