Western Swallowtail

Western Swallowtail
I thought this to be a Pale Swallowtail but Pam has corrected that ID to a Western Swallowtail. It was photographed on a morning walk near our home.

Ron... its a beauty but not a Pale Swallowtail I think.

They are black and white .

This is a Western Swallowtail (Papilio rutulas) all be it a paler version !
