20 Mule Team Canyon

Taken on the morning of our second day in Death Valley National Park, this is one of the formations in 20 Mule Team Canyon. The canyon is named for the twenty-mule teams that hauled borax out of Death Valley, but I could find no information on the connection between that operation and this canyon. In any case, it is one of the drive-through canyons in the park and well worth the drive though it is not as colorful as some of the other canyons.
