Camping at Huntoon Point

Huntoon Point marks the western end of Kulshan Ridge, a long ridge that runs from Mount Baker towards Mount Shuksan. Artist's Point is on the ridge also, near where we were standing when this photo was taken. That evening there were a number of campers up near Artist's Point and one group up on Huntoon Point, not a place I would camp if there was any wind, but that Saturday was a quiet, windless day and quite warm. Their tent and several of them are visible in the photo.

Camping there must be like Army life was during the Korean War.
