The Trail

The Trail
This was the first part of the trail I took up the shoulder of Herman Peak before the trail dropped down again behind Herman Peak and Table Mountain to the Chain Lakes. The red bushes are blueberries, the yellow grasses are sedges, the orange bushes at the top of the photo are mountain ash. The blue of the blueberries can even be seen on the bushes at the right.

micritter, Polyrus, mila, ColRam and 47 other people have particularly liked this photo

Educational, as well as being an excellent shot. I have no recollection of seeing blueberry bushes in the wild.
