Masdevallia datura
I thought I'd post some pictures of my orchids since I haven't done so for quite a while. This Masdevallia daturea from Bolivia. It's named for the enormous Angel Trumpet flowers belonging to the genus Datura or Brugmansia. Its flowers are nowhere near the size of the Angel Trumpets but are large for the size of the plants, 5-6 inches, with the added bonus that they are very fragrant.

They are not psychoactive, Steve, and in fact you could eat both plant and flowers and not feel any effects.

Not Masdevallia tovarensis. That has much smaller and flatter flowers than this and is from Venezuela.
