Mount Baker

This is where I spent part of the day. Mount Baker has had quite a bit of snow already, more in fact than all of last winter. There was about six feet of snow at the place where this photo was taken. I spent part of the day snowshoeing up to Artist's Point and beyond to the shoulder of Table Mountain. In the summer you can drive to Artist's Point, but the road has been closed since November 1 and is now being used by skiers and snowshoers. The day, obviously was beautiful and the mountains were magnificent with their covering of snow.
