Eastern Washington
Another photo from one of our summer trips to eastern Washington. We love these wide open spaces, big skies and colorful fields. In the area where this was taken one is still quite near the Columbia River and its many dams and hydroelectric plants and the towers which carry the electricity to those who need it are common.

Ah, yes, I have a copy of the radio broadcast by Orson Welles somewhere. Should look for that and listen to it again.

This is graphic and shows our modern times in our countryside! It is simple and shows vastness of the country! I like the colors, but in my opinion, I would have saturated the colors a bit more to bring them out! If I had shot it, I would have used the rule of thirds as well to cut out a little bit more of the sky at the top!
