Winter Apples

Here's something a little different. This was taken in eastern Washington along State Highway 2 in an orchard where all the apples had been harvested but those on this tree and I have no idea why. Thought it a neat picture though the colorless sky made it somewhat difficult to get a decent shot.
William Sutherland, , Nora Caracci, and 7 other people have particularly liked this photo

Comme en Normandie !
OR, maybe that one tree didn't have the same type of apples as the rest and they left it for the critters.... When you pick en masse for the market, you want all the apples to be the same variety.
OR.... They just plain missed it... LOL!
Whatever the case may be, it makes for a wonderful shot =)
Beautifully captured image. Well done Ron Regards Tess
well taken !
