View from the Mumm Basin Trail

This was taken on the fourth day of our backpacking excursion in the Canadian Rockies. That day we hiked the Mumm Basin, Hargreaves Glacier trail and this view was taken from about 7000 feet across the valley from Mount Robson. From left to right are Robson Glacier, Wall Mountain, Berg Glacier, Mount Robson, and Berg Lake. A diary of the day's hike and more pictures can be found at: ronaldhanko-orchidhunter.blogspot.com/2010/07/backpacking... This was published in the April, 2011, issue of Orchids, the magazine of the American Orchid Society, in an article titled "Taking Aim."
