Harry Jerome

Harry Jerome was a Canadian Olympic track and field runner. This statue of him stands along the seawall in Stanley Park, Vancouver. It is one of many pieces of outdoor art and sculpture that grace the city of Vancouver and make it such a wonderful place to visit.

If I had to retake this photo, I would have shot it at a slightly different angle to keep the head away from the buildings. Thankfully the day was cloudy and rainy and so the buildings do not detract too much from the statue.
