Chiwaukum Creek Trail

Chiwaukum Creek Trail
The first part of the trail along Chiwaukum Creek is an old Forest Service Road that appears to have been part of a park at one time, but is now barricaded to vehicles but still accesible to hikers. It is only when one has gone several miles that there is opportunity to follow an actual trail through the woods and along the creek.

Part of an equitrekking trip took us onto old forest service roads like this -- I think even this one in particular.... They're wonderful ways to easily explore the area =)
