Handing Over the Reins
Went to the annual plowing match for a few hours Saturday. This match is held every April in Berthusen Park just outside the town where we live. This year there were nearly 20 teams of draft horses involved in the competition, many of them decked out in more finery than this pair, but all of them beautiful animals. Raising matched pairs and teams of eight horses and showing them or involving them in competitions such as this is very popular in our area.

I just love this, Ron. Such a fantastic backdrop and atmosphere. Great detail and natural colours. History, character and those great horses. the people seem quite unaware of you taking the photo. Superb candid. Very well done! (In My Opinion)
