Abstract in Tulips

It is difficult to convey the immense numbers of tulips that are planted by the bulb growers of the Skagit Valley and the surfeit of color they provide. I went to the Skagit Valley this year determined to try and convey something of what we saw, but feel that pictures like this succeed only partially. Perhaps the only way to convey what I've tried to convey in this and other pictures is to tell you to come and see for yourself.
