Deschutes River

We are still away and are at a Starbucks in Leavenworth after hiking all day in the Columbia River Gorge, with more hiking planned for tomorrow morning. We have about fifteen minutes before Starbucks closes, not enough time to catch everyone up with comments, but I will do so as soon as we return home. Appreciate the comments that have been left in our absence.
This was taken on a recent hike with the Washington native Orchid Society and is a picture of the Deschutes River. I don't quite know why but the light was awesome that day and most of my pictures turned out well. Appreciate all the views, comments and favorites that have brought me over 700,000 for the three years plus that I've been on Flickr.
For more pictures of the area we visited see my blog post: ronaldhanko-orchidhunter.blogspot.com/2012/06/thurston-co...
