Snowshoeing at Mount Baker

Another photo from last winter's snowshoeing trek up to Artist's Point. This is taken above the ski area where we started our trek and was an attempt to capture the play of sunlight and shadow on the snow. It's interesting that so many thought this and the previous photo were black and white because neither are, but unless there is blue sky to set the scenes off everything appears to be black and white. A close look will also show a another party of snowshoers coming up at the lower left of the picture.
