Possibly. Honestly, I don't really know the destination of these, but there are a lot of them passing through. I think they have to go through the eastern corner of CA to get to NV anyway, don't they? I followed the track once on Google Earth, but don't remember where it veers east to Reno.

NE of the airport the line splits into one that basically follows US 97 down towards Shasta and then south along the 99 into Sacto where it merges with the rail line to the Bay Area. The other side of the split goes through Tulelake and then meanders through the mountains until ending up with the Feather River route near Keddie. At Keddie they could head west and drop town through Oroville towards Sacto, but logically they would be more likely to be taking the eastern portion of the Feather River route on into Nevada and headed towards Salt Lake.

Ah, that all sounds very familiar. Isn't that loop near Keddie? Anyway, somewhere along that route south of Quincy?
