Toilets, Rome

At the Hotel Quirinale, 2011. For some reason, the toilet amused me because of its wide, round appearance. And, of course the bidet, of which Americans know nothing. I doubt I'm the only American (or, Australian!) who uses a hotel bidet as an extra storage area...shoes, dirty clothes, magazines...

The Quirinale is old, rather shabby in places, my room had no hot water some of the time, but it was also quaint and frozen in time.
