Gairloch 1989. A slide.

Gairloch is one of the principal villages on the North coast 500 route. This view taken over Loch Gairloch looking south. This is the view from the Gairloch beach looking over to Charlestown and much further to the mountains of Skye taken with my Canon long lens.

Thanks for this Diana and yes, I was reminded of the effects of time just today on showing a friend one of my Ulapool NC500 shots when she said "it has all changed there now, with a new promenade". Glad you liked it.

Glad that you enjoyed this my friend and that it brought back memories for you. We were super lucky with this weather that I don't think we really have had since :) The original on Kodachrome 25 I think a my normal slide of choice and scanned on my flatbed Epson 1660 in 2012. My fist big project on retiring (some 11,000 slides). - You have many great Scandinavian shots to make up for Scottish bad weather.
