HBM - Towards Ballintoy

HBM - Towards Ballintoy
As the UK and the World today says farewell to our late Queen Elizabeth II, this peaceful scene is a long way from Westminster Abbey, London. I with my fellow compatriots say 'Thank You and RIP Your Majesty'.

The walk from the sea village of Ballintoy to the Carrick-A-Rede rope bridge passes by many seats. Here is another one looking back to the headland of the village before the steep road to the waters.

Have a great week.

Was not hard to shed tears watching all that Keith. As you say almost hypnotic viewing. A very sad loss.

Very happy that you liked this view here.

I think, you like us will have spent most of the day hypnotised by the images and sounds on our TV screens. Almost a once in a life-time event.

Yes, it is good to have such benches where none long-distance hikers can rest and just enjoy the scenery perhaps with a picnic or book.
