We were dressed in full Arctic fishing gear here Amelia. In actual fact the weather was getting better now and so we need not have worried. Glad you like this.

Good to see you again Dave. Sometimes I do wonder about displaying them but I cannot find places for my real painting to go never mind my pictures. At the end of the day, its only you my viewers here who are remotely interested. I do make DVD films of my trips with video's and 'slide shows' which include many of these photos and then we watch them over a glass of brandy every Friday night. I have so many that even once a week we are presently watching those last seen four years back. By the time we get to the present date we will have to start at the beginning again which was around 1986.

Judite it is always my pleasure to present such things to you and my other viewers here in Ipernity. In the past, we had to leave alone trying to capture such scenes and feelings as we see here but with modern camera's and editing software it is thankfully, possible to show such scenes in their glory now! Those low clouds look positively evil! The Lakes in all their majesty!

I know that we look on such weather as this as totally bad, but it does have its up-sides, if only we take the care and have the patience to find and capture it. Glad you enjoyed it.

An outstanding shot Herb..............almost 3D in appearance! I especially like the sky - beautiful and threatening at the same time. The light coming through on the left is glorious!

Can't help coming back and looking at this excellent Image.

We are very much alike in our fondness for such scenes Toz. Quite a long way from your latest rainbow capture but we both agree that somehow I have made the best of a very poor day's walking. We both like to capture light and its here in spades.
