A first look at Mykonos
OK, our ship is in the middle of the bay , along with several others, and they have disgorged many of their passengers as seen here, now covering the small streets and alleyways of this delightful town. A hot day beckons us all to the shadows where history and folklore await.

We can't do everything Daniela. Our real dream was to visit Santorini too but that was cancelled due to bad weather. Mykonos was good though.

Yes, it has special light here. The whitewashed houses with their blues and Ochre paintwork is delightful too. ~ Herb

Thanks Keith. We were actually ashore here, just a few yards from our alighting Tender. The brightness of the town was almost blinding. Good that you liked this red stern foreground.

I know. In Santorini have I been for few hours, coming from Crete, 5 hours of boat and 5 hours back. In such places we should stay al last 2 days.
