A Rouen street scene.
The title says it all. Seen in our city wanderings here.
Very close to the monument and church dedicated to Joan-of-arc, who was burned at the stake here.

ps... Notice the bike on the fenced balcony! A great place indeed.

Hi Herb,

Great street scene, and bicycle noted! (They do this in London too, so that it doesn't occupy the living room, or get nicked from the communal hallway!)

I've never been to Rouen, so thanks for sharing!

OMG Herb not only have I been there but I've been in those very buildings about 25 years ago when I was in the Navy -good to see I can still recognise them. Nice one!!

Richard, it is always nice that one of our pictures should spark a memory in that of our viewers. I doubt that these buildings have changes much over the centuries let alone 25 years. Was a great spot indeed and I hope all your memories of this place are good. Thanks for feeding back on that.
