DJ you and NZ are blessed with the same conditions we don't have the heights/steep slopes as this not even close so we cant look down. We dont have heavy cloud cover that gets holes to allow Sun spotlights on the landscape caused by the hieghts. We don't have the Lush green fields nor the dense Forrest. We do have flat land, scattered clouds and we do have brown. this is one of the thing I so look forward to going home to NZ to capture this came out well apart from the moody haze. I see this mostly in the shots from Europe. glad I can pass one back your way.

All very interesting and I guess all continents and vegetation and climate types bring their own typicities (if such a word exists!). So we can often guess where a photo is from - but here, I would have guessed Europe, for the reasons you say!
