This is a look at the same data from the first shot but using PixInsight processing first up. All the dust clouds show up that is around the two nebula's not see in the Ps edit. this was only ever a look see and trial only 28 shots. Even the very faint Nebula NGC 1999 shows up.

One for the end of the year and out on the farm with horizon to horizon views all night long. This was shot with Nikon D300mm F4 lens and 1.4 converter on the D810 all Nikon. I will retry with the 600mm Skywatcher ED80 and D810 latter months of the year.

Another excellent dep space capture here Steve. To find such things as this alone is a wonder, to capture it, well that requires some magic I think.

Herb we think what we know is the best till we get challenged by some thing else. While i totally profess to know very little about this program but I am trying. I can finally see why Carlos says nothing better to show us deep space. I know I have a long way to go but I can say what I see is what I wanted from my images from day one. Who knew it would take over two years to get here and still more to learn.

I hope like me you enjoy this very fast look at one of the best targets we can all aspire to. Cant wait till the end of the year to get this properly all night long away from the city out in the country.
