Freedom at last- Pick a Fence Any fence
As our locked down was cut back the clouds cleared and the moon was small and low. Sadly there was plenty of smoke. First real Chance to use the Clear night filter on the stars at night. Which is better.

Great that you were able to get out and take a shot like this again, Steve. The smoke may reduce the astronomical merit, but with the light it does add an interesting effect. HFF and have a great weekend.

Yes you are right on both counts it was great to be able to be free enough to get out and enjoy it, smoke certainly diminished the detail in the shot. HFF from the West you keep safe and looking for a hole in the clouds,

The two shots are two years apart and clearly show the light pollution that is now in evident from the Bauxite mining. glad you like the shot HFF hope the situation will ease soon for the UK but in the mean time stay safe.

As said on the pip photo Steve -a lot of fences in here. But lets not beat about the bush -its your Milky Way star bow that is the real winner here. That filter makes such a difference.

Lots of fences almost to the point of being a nana state. the shot was taken for the fences, moonlight and the milky way bow got in the shot as well. What else can I do.

The filter certainly made a nicer colour once i was able to work out the edit for the shot.

Thank you Peter its a normal shot to me its so easy the filter made the editing a little different than the PIP. the shot was about the two fences the white one and the stone taking you out into the parts of the shot.. HFF keep safe and healthy in these difficult times.

many thanks Fusun I enjoy getting out in to the peace of the night, this night was very satisfying with Jess as I was able to do other shots as well than just the Milky way, you will see them on here as well. HFF remain safe and looking after yourself in these times.

Thank you I will say Not a pro but some one who enjoys this type of photos plus I am bless with some black skies very little light pollution. Due to Covid 19 I am unable to travel out of my area so this spot just had to do. I am hoping to get our travel restriction lifted so I can get further out of the city to country. A real host of fences here. If you get back here and you have the time.
