I dont think this is the stairway to Heaven Wrong Colour.................

My one and only clear night at 1:30am in the morning. The shot has a "Haida Clear night filter" on the lens my first real look at its results. I am 100% in the city light plume the beach just 2 min down the road from home.. Contrast the colour with no filter and how much more light pollution there is.

Setting normal Astro for the last 4 years BUT no filter on this shot.

I think have the filter makes the photo look more natural farther than polluted with light colours. the difference is quite dramatic and its hardly much of a filter.

The investment is not the 77mm dia but the 150x150 to cover the 14mm and the holder to hold the filter but I have seen enough to go ahead. Not what I went for but could not resist this shot or the colour. Did not relies just how much the red would be heightened by the filter as well. Glad you like the shot. HFF from the far west.

Not a lens I would normally use at night but one the takes the screw on filter so I had to try it out. The filter heightens the red very well. PIP show where the shot was taken. HFF and enjoy your weekend.
