On our small Rock

On our small Rock
The site right next to the main road Cars and trucks going past for the deep sky shots I use gaffer tape to cover the view finder from there lights. while I had the shot with no truck I thought why not included a little reality to the shot even our car gets a staring role..

The PIPs have been added so the view of the sky and the shot mean some thing more.

Amelia, ColRam, Peter_Private_Box, and 8 other people have particularly liked this photo

Hi Steve

Nice to see that you are getting some use from your new toy!!

I must say that on this occasion including the vehicle lights seems to work well..

Best Wishes, and a good weekend

I love this photo, and yes, the PiPs are helpful. I don't think I'll ever be able to achieve anything like this.

I will say this 5 years ago I said the very same thing " I could never do this" but look at the result. now I am learning some thing even more complicated if you look at the new set of photos taken with telephoto lens 70-200. Have yet to give the 150-600 a real good go need a very still night for that lens no wind. Many thanks never say never.
