I have only once stopped to photograph these two trees, even though we live a mile away. The house is still owned by the original orchard farming family. I used to love their many different plum varieties, little yellow ones, green ones and small prune plums with pits that fall out when you cut them open, great for baking plum cake and making plum butter. The property has been leased to another orchard across the street for many years now.
