Maggie makes sure you don't get lost. So glad she has learned the hiking routine. It will be some years until the birch (or aspen?) trees reach full size.

Maggie is so independent now, but never runs ahead or stays behind too far. Yesterday was the first time that she carefully walked up the embankment, peaked over the top and came back. On our way back to the car, she knows her way and never leaves the trail.
